Ms. Magazine has a great post up right now on Lee Price’s work. Go and read it, I’m not going to recap it except to say that it’s about women and food and shame, which is a subject a lot of us know well. It pretty much drives me completely insane when I see my female friends’ Facebook statuses (and it’s always only my female friends) about how they just ate something and now need to go to the gym to work it off. We have to feel badly about food and/or weight, we’re not allowed to exist without the constant policing of our bodies.
